To give your stomach time to adjust to the new tightness. It is trauma to your stomach with each fill so it will swell up. Liquids give your stomach a break.

Yes, your stomach will swell and if you eat, you will have a stuck eposode. You need to give your stomach time to adjust, and you may lose a few pounds in the process.

It's taking care of yourself!

Just had my third fill yesterday. My doc is very persistant about the liquids for two days. It helps your stomach adjust. He also said that your stomach will become swallon. He suggested cool liquds and to easy back into foods. Like soft foods first. . I am looking forward to seeing if this fill put me in the green zone. if not I think I am very close.
