New to LBT

Hello everyone, my name is Angela, I am Connie's best friend. I am a single mother of two-yr-old twin boys. I am almost 200 lbs overweight. I have been to the emergency room 3 times since September 2005. I have been told I have acid reflux disease and costochondritis. I was told these conditions would subside if I were to lose weight. Well as you all know that is easier said than done. I have been trying to lose weight since about the sixth grade. I have recently submitted my paperwork to be approved for the lab band. Please keep your fingers crossed that I get approved.

Hi Everyone, Sorry I haven't been able to post but as Connie mentioned my boys have been taking turns being in hospital the past week. I am so excited I can't wait until the April 19.

Karen just called with a message from Connie that Angie's is now banded and out of surgery.:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Wow, one month to the day of her first post!! I guess all of the crossed fingers, toes, and eyes really helped!

Welcome to bandland Angie! I hope youre recovery is as speedy as your approval and surgery! :welcome2:
