  1. Sorry I haven't been on in a while. The band is treating me fine. I went and saw Dr. Brody for my follow-up visit he said I heal really well. I go for my first fill on June 13, 2006.
  2. Hi. Thanks everyone. Well I am now a member of Band Land. Well all in all surgery wasn't that bad. My stomach is still a little sore. If any one has any good tips for me I am all ears.
  3. Hi Everyone, Sorry I haven't been able to post but as Connie mentioned my boys have been taking turns being in hospital the past week. I am so excited I can't wait until the April 19.
  4. Hello everyone, my name is Angela, I am Connie's best friend. I am a single mother of two-yr-old twin boys. I am almost 200 lbs overweight. I have been to the emergency room 3 times since September 2005. I have been told I have acid reflux disease and costochondritis. I was told these conditions would subside if I were to lose weight. Well as you all know that is easier said than done. I have been trying to lose weight since about the sixth grade. I have recently submitted my paperwork to be approved for the lab band. Please keep your fingers crossed that I get approved.
