5 days post op and finally can say I feel better today. Big difference from cussing the nurses out over pain meds on tuesday...dont get me started! I can say that moving around every hour and getting that gas out has helped sooooo much. I'm up to 32 oz of water today and had a good amount of protein today even though I'm still working on getting to 70. Yes I'm still sore.. yes I still can't bend over and touch my toes and it still takes a gentle touch to roll from one side to the other but I don't feel like the pain will never go away. I wanted to share this for all the people getting banded this week. And I still hold firm that this is better than having my gall bladder removed. I plan on even getting out of the house tomorrow. Good Luck to all of you getting banded this week.
