4 Years Post Op! :)

Hi all - it's crazy that I never joined this site in the beginning. Or maybe I did, but just forgot my log-in name. Who knows. Anyways, I am 4 years post LapBand. Doing pretty good with it. Up and down, but that's my fault, not the bands. It is just a tool and there are times where it's a user malfunction! Getting back into eating more healthy again and exercising again, so I figured I'd jump on here for that big HOORAY, and GOOD LUCK that you usually get from these sites! :) I broke my ankle in April and had to have surgery which kept me out of commision for almost 3 months (no walking at all) and of course, when you lay around bored because you can't do anything, you eat. So, I put on some more weight!! Now that I am back to being able to at least WALK, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things!! Glad to be apart of this site! Talk to you all soon!

Hi Justme! Welcome back! 4 years, that is awesome! I too broke my ankle (over 6 years ago, now) right after having a baby- then I had some serious complications....but boy has losing weight helped with even that- I was so amazed!!!

That is the great thing about the band- you can restart! So we're very happy to have you here, it's a great place to get support and (when needed) tough love :).
