Stage 4 Ideas?

Hey guys, I had my surgery June 18, 2012, so I am just starting the 4 th stage. Does anyone have any ideas for meals that are easier to prepare and bring to work? Or any tips on how you remind yourself to stop drinking fluids without constantly staring at the clock. I thought I would have been excited for real food, but instead I'm extremely nervous- the shakes feel safe. Can anyone relate?

I really enjoyed eating hummus, and other soft fibre-rich bean things, like split-pea soup.

Was the split pea soup homemade? Did you add protein to it?
