July, 27Th: Surgery Scheduled

My surgery is scheduled for July 27th. I'm very excited, not nervous yet. I want this to work for me. I'm committed to following the program diligently.

So looking forward to losing some weight and not having aching knees and sore hips every day.

I've been practicing taking very small bites and chewing, chewing, chewing...... Sometimes the food slips down my throat before I'm done chewing. I hope I get this chewing part, down pat.

How hard is it to learn to eat with the band in place?

I'm also worried about making sure I chew my food good enough. My surgery date is scheduled for July 23rd. I know we will be successful and utilize our bands to drop the weight we need to! Best of luck everyone
