I'm At Newbie At This!

Hey everyone.. I was banded 6/7, and am on liquids since then. I start mushy foods in 2 days and looking forward to it! Full liquids have been pretty hard, but i've dropped 25lbs already so that's whats keeping me going! I am a wedding photographer and all the wedding food does NOT make this any easier. This past weekend's wedding, I drank water only, as the only other beverages available were carbonated, which I was told to avoid. Should have planned a little better...

Wow! I was banded on the 8th. 25lbs is fantastic!!! Great job! I know it's hard, how do we get through this? For me, protein and keeping very busy is helpful. Keep it up!

I would not want to have your profession and attempt to lose weight. I have a lot of will power but that's just asking too much from me. It would be like working one day a week at a buffet restaurant. If you pull this off, congrats and you deserve an attagirl.

I am three years out and I keep food with me at all times. I eat normal food but I dont like to let myself get too hungry. I almost always have nuts or cheese or something in my purse...you are right to try to plan ahead...
