12 Hours Post Op

I'm twelve hours post op and having issues getting the gas out. I know this is a big problem for most, but I could really use some advice. I've taken 4 gas x strips so far and not much help. Is this something that doesn't get better the first day? Or should I stop being so impatient and just left the gas x do it's magic? Lol

Don't worry. It's normal. Try not to O-D on gas ex.

I experienced air pain for about two weeks post-op. It was the WORST under my right shoulder blade. Walking helps. Gas-X too. I found that a heating pad on my back would give pretty good relief.

Thanks for the replies! I'll try and walk more, I bet that will help. Courtney's mom, did you have trouble getting the gas out the first day? I think what my issue is I'm afraid to try push it out because of my sore abdomen, tmi I'm sorry!
