Liposuction Question

I am having a lower body lift, tummy tuck and breast lift on 06/14 and will also have some lipo along with it. If you've had lipo how bad was the drainage? They make it sound bad. They gave me puppy pee pads to put under me on the bed so I don't get the sheets messed up. That really grosses me out. LOL

I've had lipo. Those pads were helpful in the car ride home and the first few days to protect my bed and couch. Day 1 there is the most drainage but it really wasn't that bad.

Skinny Jill are you going to have the drainage tubes in? I'm 3 weeks post op and I still have 1 in and I'm still producing Fluid. But I don't have any swelling or complications.

I will have 4 drains, 2 from the TT and 2 from the LBL. Does the fluid ever leak out of the drains?

Nope, they have a little cap on them and you empty them out. My Fluid is starting to come down after 3 weeks. Yay! Maybe I'll get it out this week. It really limits what I can wear with it pinned to me! I'm still wearing the compression garment for another month.

That is good to know. I am ok with the drains. I am just worried about the lipo drainage.
