I havent had a fill yet but my doc said once I do I will have to have liquids for two days afterwards. Hope this helps.

I would definately stick to the liquid diet. Try having a Protein Shake. You probably need to get some Protein in to ward off the hunger. My doctor actually wants his patients on a liquid diet for a whole week after a fill!!

Occupy yourself with something else. Go for a walk or go clean something. Try to get your mind off of it. I went window shopping the other day....left all forms of money at home. Drove 30 mins to get to the mall and another 30 min back plus made myself stay for an hour and a half.-with no way to purchase food, by the time I got home half the day was over.

(i did take a large protein shake with me)

I do liquids for the day of fill and then mushies the next. Try protein shake or creamy soups. As mentioned, take yor mind elsewhere if you can!

Try yogurt, it is still essentially liquid but a bit more satisfying. My Dr makes me stick to soft foods after a fill not liquids but every Dr is different and you need to do what your's recommends.

Protein Shakes will help. I usually eat cream of chicken Soup. If I am still hungry after the Protein shake, I microwave a sweet potato, mash it up really good with a lot of 1% milk (until soupy) put some healthy butter, cinnamon and splenda on it. Yum!!!

It might sound a little icky, but, you can put veggie soup in the blender too. Its not pretty, but its goooooood!
