Consult Done Today!

So I went in today for a consult today. They verified my insurance covers the procedure, I was told I only need a nutrition consult and psych eval. And I scheduled both for tomorrow! The dr. was awesome! I really felt comfortable with him. He asked how soon I wanted surgery done and I said as soon as possible and he replied 'well we will try to get it done this month!' *Fingers crossed*. I also started a vlog on YouTube where I will be documenting my journey

Oh wow! I wish all I needed was just two visits. I'm done with all tests now on Wednesday I have to go and see a pulmonary specialists so that she/he can review my tests with me. If everything is a go, then all paperwork will be sent in to BCBSIL!!!! Congrats! I hope I'm a June bandster but I can settle for July.

Yay!!! I am waiting on my doctors to finalize some things with my insurance. After that its a barium swallow, EKG, and labs then I'm a go for surgery. I just hate this waiting!

Congrats! It took me 8 months of insurance run arounds but worth it
