Day 3 Pre-Op Diet

I can hardley believe I made it through day 3. I heard that this was the hardest day. This was a piece of cake compared to day 1. The Protein Shakes I was drinking were making me very sick. I had diareaha all day and was weak like no other.

I found it really strange that I am able to fast for a week and never have any hunger pains but day one I was so sick.

Anyway, I realized today that my surgery is next Monday so I'm super excited. I'm so ready to be on the other side of the surgery.

Hope if you are on the liquid diet that you are doing good. Tell me what you are doing to get through. What are you drinking? Are you getting all your Protein in?(Im struggling) Have you kept up with the 64 oz of Water? What protein shakes are you using?

you sound good, following the docs rules. sorry the shakes taste bad, I still love mine. I use Jay Robb, with my soy milk I get 32 grams of protein. I buy it at the Vitamin Shoppe. It costs a little more but soooo tasty!

you will make it through this 1st struggle and be so ready for your band!

I have several different shakes and I tried one tonight that I really like. I got it at whole foods. It tasted fairly good. I tried the dark chocolate one and I don't like dark chocolate but it was good. It was only a individual one so I will need to go get some more.

Glad your enjoying your shakes. Looks like you are doing great bmi from 43 to 30 that is awesome.
