does mean I'm too tight at restriction or just need to chew better?? Sometimes when I'm eating a small piece of chicken it will hurt going down or a cracker?? AM I too tight at restriction or just need to chew better??

No, not too tight. I also get the feeling if I fail to chew properly OR if the food I am eating is too dry.

I experience this too, i have 10.1cc's in a 14cc band, I was told by several people that have the band that they have problems with chicken, not all the time but with the band it just the depends on the day. When was your surgery? it took me 6 weeks to eat chicken after surgery, i now eat dark meat better than chicken breast

I'm 11 weeks post op.. I'm glad I'm not too tight I'm happy with my 8.5 cc's right now..

Welcome to the lapband life. You will experience pain upon eating all the time or, at the very least, frequently. It is just part of having a lapband.
