24, Getting Banded May 21St

Hello. I'm Stacey. I just moved to long island, ny and am getting banded on Monday. Starting to get a little nervous but I know in the long run all this will be worth it. Just reaching out for some friends and support. Since I just moved back home after Being away for seven years my local support is very small. hope to meet some great people on here and advice is always welcome!

Feeling a lot better! Totally off pain meds. Today I drove for the first time :) and I walked about a mile on the boardwalk . The only thing I can complain about is that I do feel hungry. At least i think!

Are you ready for Tuesday?

Are you ready for Tuesday?

Nervous, but keeping busy. ;)

I'm getting banded June 6th. I am also getting a little nervous. I didn't have to go on a pre-op diet, but i lost 6 lbs (somehow, lol) putting me at 238. Good to hear that the late May banisters are doing well. What is the post-op diet like? My surgeon said 4 weeks of mushies. I've been buying a lot of baby food- is that what you guys are doing post-op?

My surgery is may 29. For post op, I stocked up with broth, Gatorade, crystal light, Protein shakes/power, yogurt, cottage cheese, Soups, ricotta cheese. All soft foods, which I have to be on for 4-6 weeks.
