Question For First Time Stuck

Monday I could move onto mushies - I was banded 2 wks then - on the list was thinly sliced deli meat - so while making lunch for my daughter - I woofed a piece of ham - bad idea - stuck - got it free a little while later but now I still have a odd sensation - yesterday sore throat today odd sensation. I can drink and feel fine - no heartburn or pain - I think I'm just paranoid - I have backed up my diet and I'm being very careful - does this last long should I calm down? I saw my surgeon on Monday for follow up and she didn't seem bothered....help!

your ok. I don't know why but yes, you can have an odd sensation for a while. I would get a soar throat too, at first. If you can drink liquids... I think your are fine.

I'm sure you are ok. You probable have irritated the band. You should try going back to liquids for the rest of the day until it calms down.
