Numbness Below Incisions

I had surgery last Friday. For the last couple of days, I've noticed that the skin below my incisions is numb. (By below, I mean actually closer to my feet, not under the steri-strips).

Does anyone else have that? It seems really swollen there as well, but there is no bruising or anything, just numbness. I saw a doctor Monday about pain, and he thought everything looked good then.

I'm seeing the surgeon again in a week, so I'll ask him about that as well, but I was just wondering if this might be a more common issue.

Thanks.

The swelling is causing compression on the nerve endings, causing the numbness. When the swelling goes away, then numbness should too. I fit does not, then I would ask the doctor about it.
