So i was denied 2 weeks ago because they put down inpatient instead of outpatient. That was the only reason why.so ins coordinator resubmitted for out patient. When I called for status the operator said I have a surgery date for April 30 set up but it is still pending cause nurse hasn't reviewed yet. So what does that mean? Y is there a date if not approved yet? I have bcbs anthem of Cali ppo

They have to have a date to submit to insurance.
