Yesterday I experienced two wonderful NSVs. My oldest son of 10 years is a few pounds overweight (15). He was offered a package of donuts and he only ate 2 then offered the remainder to his brother.
The second came last night at dinner. Now, keep in mind ever since I have been banded the portion sizes have shrunk for all family members. It is impossible to convince me they can eat a lot of food. Any way I prepared a very small plate for him and before he was finished he announced he was full. I was absolutely shocked. His younger brother (9) typically announces he is full and absolutely refuses to put another morsel in his mouth. He has no wieght issues. But my oldest has a different body structure. Very thick and solid. He typically eats far more than my youngest. Well, last night he ate about the same as his younger brother. He had one drumstick, a tablespoon of rice.
