Bathroom Time!

I know this is TMI, but I am desperately in the NEED to know! My bowels have not moved since B4 surgery. Tomorrow, April 2nd marks one week out. Is this normal? Any suggestions on what to take?

Milk of magnesia, warm prune juice or senekot... Warm prune juice usually works within a 1/2 hour. The others can take about 6-8. It is normal, you are not eating much, diet has changed and taking pain medications will effect you! If you are super uncomfortable I urge you to call your doctor and get their opinion!
