Pre Op Diet

Well today is the fourth day of my pre op diet, I am so tired of chicken broth but I know it is well worth it. (I have two weeks of complete liquids no solids and protein shakes) I have surgery on April 3rd any encouraging words from anyone right now would be great to keep my momentum up through this diet.

I'm finding I'm having so many stomach aches in the evening due to being hungry and take a pepsid and drink fluids but the feeling won't go way. I'm fine after my one meal at lunch but after 9 so uncomfortable. Also if I don't take a stool softner I find myself hurting out the other end the next day. Sorry for the tmi. But I guess it comes with the pre op. I'm making sure to get a bunch of veggies in me to help. Less than a week till my surgery. I can hold out but this sucks

Started my pre-op diet today and haven't found myself hungry but it's only noon and it being the first day- a new thing. 2 weeks should go by fast but Easter being close by I hope I can stay on track.
