I'm glad I found this forum. I'm 286lbs, starting weight was 300lbs, and the goal I would like to reach is 160lbs. I have been approved for the surgery and I should know my surgery at the end of this month. I'm excited and nervous. I'm glad to be here.

I am Deb, Welcome to the group. I am happy you got approved and i am sure they will give you a date soon. I am waiting for approval but suppose to have it by the start of April. I am hoping for an end of April surgery date. This is a fantastic group of ppl i think you will find it helpfull and suportive
