Has anyone had a colonoscopy since being banded ? Unfortunately I have to do this-yuk- and I wonder how people cope with swallowing the prep liquid? Any response would really help! Thank you!

I had one a couple of months ago. No worries, I had to drink a liter over 15 minutes. It was horrid, but easily done.

I had this procedure recently, and had no problem of either drinking the solution or getting the water in. The procedure itself was likewise easy and gave me great peace of mind

I've done about five of them during the last two years and its always been fine. Its hard to get the liquid down quiuckly, unfortunatly you have to sip and taste it, but its doable
