How Often Does Your Doctor Fill?

I had my surgery on dec 23rd and from the pre diet until my first fill which was feb 1st i lost 30lbs. This whole past month i have not lost a single pound. When he did my first fill he said i had 3.5 cc in a 10cc band and he will not put more in for 6 weeks. I hate being discouraged since this is about the time i would "give up" doing it on my own. I know that i just need to be patient and wait for my fills. I guess i just needed to vent LOL.. Thanks for listening!!

dont give up .every dr does things different. i had my surgery dec 28 . i have a 10 cc band and 5cc was put during surgery. i had my first fill six weeks after surgery. my dr only fills .25cc at a time every 2 weeks if needed. i have only lost 23 lbs. im not frustrated because their r many things i could do different. its a learning process.

i can imagine how frustrated you must feel now. i hope that you start to lose weight again quickly. i dont understand either why you arent losing now, especially as you lost so much before... which by the way was just wonderful. do you have a dietician ?? perhaps talking with her/him would help you?

...i would ring here and have a talk. i know what you mean about having to make it work though.. lol.. even though my hubby isnt paying for it... its not worth the explosion here if i dont pull my weight (a pun?? lol. ) after the surgery. it has to work for me as well. when i have mine done, that is. hopefully very soon. no date set yet.
