Surgery Done!

Both my husband and I had surgery February 1st. So glad it's over. I've had a rough couple of days though. They started me off with 3cc's of fluid and he stayed empty because they had to repair a hernia. The first time I took the oral pain medicine I threw up (dry heave, nothing came up). That caused swelling which just started a bad chain reaction. By Friday I was extremely nauseous and dry heaving a ton so I had to get all the fluid taken out. I'm feeling much better now and still wouldn't change anything. Hubby is doing great.

Glad all is well with you now. I also had a hiatal hernia repair. The first day, I , too, became nauseated shortly after taking a sip of something. I dry heaved too. And it happened a little later that evening also when I wasnt even drinking. Thanking God, it hasn't happened since.
