So today I'm wearing a brand new (i.e. not stretched) Australian size 14 shirt --- AND IT FITS!!!

Plus, I saw a new surgeon (for something unrelated to the band) today, and in taking my history he found out that I'd had the band. He exclaimed "But you're not that big! Why did you get the band?!" I was like... ummm, I used to be bigger than I currently am!!! :D :D :D

  • Yeah, I'm definitely not going to buy any fancy or expensive clothes until I'm at my goal weight. But I have now got some $8 jeans and $6 shirts from Kmart that fit, and I feel great!

hi well done for fitting in to size 14 shirt

Woo hoo! Congrats! I look forward to the "But you're already so thin, why would you need the band" comments :D

Congratulations! It is such a great feeling! When I finally broke down and bought myself some smaller sizes I felt so much better about myself and was really able to see the difference. So much fun!

That is awesome! I have a hard time buying new clothes if I am going to keep losing weight, but I did buy some jeans a couple of weeks ago, and it is amazing how much you can see the transformation when you wear clothes that fit! Keep up all the hard work!
