8 months and now a year after surgery is my second obstruction.

Right before first one I had Vitamin K deficiency too so I was covered in bruises. They say it happens a lot with abdominal surgery patients.

But anyway - one day I wake up and just cant swallow a pill - the other I can eat banana pudding... All of a sudden. Went to the doc he unfilled 0.5ccs. Why do I get it like 20 days after adjustment?

The PAs at my surgeon's office always remind me that fills don't necessarily take effect right away. It can take 1-2 weeks for it to kick in, which is probably why you're getting stuck weeks after the fact.

What kind of pills are you taking? Do they come in a liquid or chewable form, or can you crush them? This might help prevent you from getting stuck in the future.
