Plateau

Well I am 13 months post op and my weight hasn't moved in about 4 months now. I have upped the gym, ,mixed up my eating plan .. journaled my food, upped my water, even broke out the old Weight Watchers scale and started weighing & measuring.. .. nothing seems to help. I hope this isn't as good as it gets. I still need another 75 pounds off at least. Any ideas

Do you have more space in your band for a fill? Maybe talk to your surgeon. I do know that plateaus happen, our bodies lose weight so fast, and then they are sort of done... BUT that doesn't mean that you can't get out of the plateau. I would talk to your doctor.

I hit a plateau in July/Aug. Called my nutritionist she told me to go back to the pre op diet. I did it and with in a couple of weeks it helped get the ball rolling for me again. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I hit a plateau in sept so I went and got a fill. Upped my gym, monitored my eating... Nothing worked. I kept gaining and loosing the same five pounds. I finally went for my third fill last week and the scale is finally moving again. Yea! Keep the faith and ride it out. This to shall pass!
