liquid diet

I'm new here..I viewed this site many times as a guest before registering.. everyone seems so helpful.. I don't have a surgery date yet but will be sometime earlly 2012 hopefully. The main thing I keep thinking about is this clear liquid diet..How bad is it? Any tips or good things I should get? Thanks

Welcome, you'll find this a friendly, helpful group. As far as the liquid diet, it's only as bad as you make it. This surgery is to lose weight and to do that you have to reduce your calories. There are a few weeks

that the liquid diet is necessary, but with a little ingenuity it really isn't that bad. Most of the folks that

are in the program don't have too much of a problem with it, I hope you don't.
