first exam to pre op

so today was my first consulation with the doctor he ordered a bunch of exams to check blood urine and all the other things, how long should I predict that I will have a surgery? like 3 months 2 months 6 months.. going crazy...also paying everything out of pocket I moved to Brazil to this surgery, and I know the doctors as very close friends. very scared but hopeful

Since you are paying out of pocket it should be a lot faster...Im going thru my insurance and it took a little over 6months. I've seen some posts on here on individuals that pay their own way and end up getting their surgery within weeks.

My only advise make sure you don't rush into it unless you are full prepared.
