4 days post op

Hi, I am 4 days post op and doing pretty well except diareah. My stomach gurgles and gurgles and I don't dare let it come out unless on toilet. Ugh....my bum hurts!!! I hear others complain about the gas but not diareah. I am taking liquid roxicet and all liquids. Wish I would go away!!!!

Any suggestions? Thanks, Randi

Wish it would go away...lol. Darn auto correct.

I had trouble with diahrrea also. I just had to wait it out. It lasted about 3 days. I wish I had an answer for you. Hang in there! For me it was all liquid in equals all liquid out!

I had the same problem, thank God the Pink Stuff. The diareah and gas went away the next week. Then again, once I started eating soft and solid foods, all the plumbing return to normal. Good luck!!!

Thanks everyone! So glad I have company on this journey!

I didn't have a BM until 4 days post op and I had the same problem. It was almost like a bit of residual left from the mag citrate I took before surgery.

Doctor said to drink gatorade or pedialyte (baby dept) and the carbs and sugar didnt matter. Right now its all about healing. Hope this helps get past the diarreah period. Juices will cause you to have diarreah sometimes.
