Travel after Surgery?

My husband is dying to get away for a long weekend after my surgery. We live in NYC and we were thinking of going to Vegas for a few days. Anyone have any travel experience shortly after the big day. How long do you think would be realistic before hopping onto a plane. He said he would carry the bags:)?

    Hey there!

    I was bnaded on the 29th. I live in South Korea . I'm 18 days out. I'm actually moving back home to the states in 9 days. That 20 hr flight is going to be hell, but my Dr. says I'll be fine. I'll drop you a line if I have any complications. Good luck!
