Thanks Wayne. Right now I am trying to get over the last minute (or maybe I sould say last month) jitters about making this decision. How much pain were you in right afterwards?? Do you work, and if so how long did you take off?

Barbie, I totally understand the jitters, I think everyone has them, my thoughts were I can do this myself, I dont need this surgery. What if I fail?

Almost 1 year later I am so happy with my decision, the best choice I could have made.

I had surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Tuesday. The pain wasnt to bad, just make sure you stay hydrated, just lots of small sips of Water. The first couple days were uncomfortable, by Monday I was feeling pretty good.

Those are my exact feelings! How much have you lost? Did you have a lot of support? My family knows, but I haven't told anyone from work. I started a blog, because reading some other very inspirational blogs really helped me to make my decision. I am taking a week off of work...I am sure that should be enough time.
