Weight Gain before Pre-Op Diet

Wondering if anyone gained weight prior to starting their Pre-Op Diet? I'm feeling so unmotivated, and have gained 2 lbs before the Pre-Op Diet. I'm supposed to begin the liquid diet this Friday, but have lost my motivation. Any thoughts

I started my journey last march from that point to my preop diet, I gained about 10lbs. I think I was taking advantage of eating things that I would have to give up post band. Unfortunately it's not a good thing, but I did enjoy it at the time.

I'm having the same thing happen to me...I've gained about 4 and will hopefully start my preop within the next month...I believe someone on here called it..."Last Supper Syndrome"

LOL that makes sense so glad that I'm not alone. Well can't wait to get the show on the road. I'm feeling much more confident now that it's been approved. Now it's just a matter of scheduling the date with West Houston. Do you have any recommendations on shakes, I hate that "Diet" taste and looking for some insight on a good shake. Do you know if GMC is the place that lets you try them before you buy? Keep me updated on your progress. I'm so loving this site with all of the knowledge and people I've gotten to interact with so far.
