I was scheduled for surgery on August 29th and my doctor's office just called and there was a cancellation so my surgery is now scheduled for August 22nd. I am sooooo excited and anxious to start on this wonderful journey!!!! I can't believe it's 7 days away!!!!!!!

Whoo-hoo! That's wonderful! I was approved on a Thursday and my doc's office called that day and said they had a cancellation - did I want it? Sure! And then they said it was for the very next Tuesday!!! I'm so glad I took it! BTW - it was my anniversary and my beloved hubby was there for the whole thing for me. What a way to celebrate, huh?!

HAHA well that was a wonderful anniversary present!! My birthday is tomorrow, Aug 18th so I am considering my band to be the greatest birthday present to myself ever!!
