Nausea- Someone help please!

I had surgery about 9 days ago. I had no nausea and vomiting, which was great because I can deal with anything but nausea. Now, all of a sudden out of the blue I am nauseous beyond reason. Phenergan isn't helping. Eating isn't helping. I am barely getting my water in. The weird thing is I feel like I have to vomit constantly and when I try to, nothing comes out. What is going on? Can someone help me and please tell me how to make it stop? Thanks.

I am not banded yet, but from what I have read on this board, you need to call your doctor, you need to stop trying to eat because that may make it worse. Someone with real band experience could tell you more. Good luck.

I had this problem also, it was days after surgery and I was put on zofran. It worked GREAT! I only had to use it a few times for about 2 days and it went away and no problems since. Contact your Dr...just curious, what are you eating?? Eating the wrong things may make you nauseous. About 9 days into it, most people are still on pureed. So you may want to make sure your stuff is pureed very well and you're not overeating. If you are unable to get fluids in, then you can talk to your dr.
