Egg Drop soup?

OK, so I'm 10 days post-op and craving egg drop soup like crazy. Is it safe to have the egg in it or should I strain it? Thanks all!

    My doctor allowed me to eat mushies about a week post op and solids 2 weeks post op, so I was able to eat egg drop soup during my mushies stage. I was craving it like crazy as well, I think because it's high in protein. If you are allowed mushies I'm sure you could handle it :)
