Does anyone else have side pain?

I get a pain "sorta" like a runners stitch in my side, the side where the port is. Is this abnormal? I have a lot of gas. Can anyone weigh in on this?

I'm not sure when you had surgery, but having pain in your side and the gas pain is completely normal after surgery.

Even over 2 months out, I still get side pains from time to time.

I've the same pain occasionally. I'm only 2 weeks post op though. It feels just like a runners stitch in my left side. I find it's worst when I walk a lot or when I'm gassy/constipated. It's on my list to speak to the Dr. about at my post op appointment. Hopefully someone here has info!

I get alot of the same pain if I over eat.

thats the kind of pain I had for fwe eeks after surgery. it was "normal" at the time. Now I get it when I don't eat how i'm supposed to. Warning sign to get myself back on track. I had my band put in in 2008
