Hello All, Had my band placed Yesterday Friday July 29. I must say it was a very pleasant experience. I was nervous about the anesthesia, but they are real tricksters! lol He was pushing meds on my way into the OR! I only remembered them telling me to take deep breaths and next time I woke up i was in PACU!! Discharged home at 1:45 pm. Enjoying my chicken broth today!! Tastes like heaven- the little 2 oz that I have at a time! lol Good luck to all of u!!

I'm so glad that everything went well! I loved my chicken broth after surgery. It was the only thing that made me feel good.

I just had a little gas pain in my shoulder /left upper chest area, just a little, so i walked around the house for 15 mins and put the heating pad on my shoulder area and took a gas x strip. Not sure which one of them helped or if it was a combinations but I BURPED and passes some gas. I have been up walking around the house every hour on the hour for about 5 mins. Started that yesterday when I came home. I do not want the dreaded gas pains that I hear about. lol Good luck to you all! going to have some chicken broth!

You are doing all the wright things, so just keep it up.....

Shirley.
