not loosing weight

hi everyone,

i was banded on 25th january 2011 at first i loss a couple of pounds but now my weight has stayed the same. its so frustrating i have about 7mls in my band now. going to see the dr on tuesday to talk about it and i think there are two options 1= take all the Fluid out of the band and relax it for 6weeks then start again or 2= to carry on and hope for the best. has anyone been in this situation? advise on this much appreciated .

thx in advance.

I'm not understanding why you'd have the Fluid removed from the band-- wouldn't that make your problem even worse?

What are you eating in a typical day?

Doesn't sound like you're getting in much Protein. Did your doctor tell you to shoot for a certain number of grams of protein per day, or a certain amount of carbs?

I really don't see how unfilling and re-filling your band will make any difference- if anything I'd think it'd make you gain instead of lose.

I agree. Sounds like your diet is heavier in carbs. Even before lapband I had to eat less than 25 carbs a day to lose any weight.
