pain

Hi

Had the band done on Friday and I feel like I have broken ribs, hurts when I breath, I keep yawning and the pain is like a sucker punch to the ribs. What the heck is this?

    If the pain is really bad, call the doctor to make sure you're not developing pneumonia.

    I just had mine done on Thursday, and I felt the same way. My sister is a nurse and she told me that I needed to take lots of deep breaths and no matter how bad it hurt, I needed to cough as much as possible. I guess it is really easy to get pneumonia. You need to be careful of blood clots also. The more I got up and walked, coughed, and took deep breathes, the better it got. Feel better soon!

    :unsure: Thanks for all the help, I have asthma so I am going in the morning for a chest xray and then my doc will review in the mean time I am doing breathing treatments. I also had a hernia repaired so I am sure that has something to do with the pain to.
