Had my pre-op appt today

Friday will be here before I know it. It is coming so fast I can't believe it! I learned a LOT of good information in the meeting today. I also bought a kit from my doctor's office that will get me through the first 30 days+. It has everything from the Protein drink mixes to the Protein powder to all supplements and chia seeds (for fiber). It was $300 but that was totally worth it to me. The supplements will last me 3 months and the other items are good for a month. Easy breezy.

The pre-registration at the hospital sucked. It took an hour and a half longer than it should have, which concerns me for how they will be the day of surgery.

I LOVE chia seeds. When you are though your 30 days post op and can have puddings etc. I make chia gel, only I don't use water I use chocolate RTD protein shake and it turns into a nice thick chocolate pudding...delicious and filling!
