I don't care for Muscle Milk either, Pure Protein Cookies and Creme is the bomb, if you can ever find it!!! EAS is pretty good too, 17gm protein and 110 cals....

I can tolerate vanilla Muscle Milk if I'm desperate. But it's not that good, and I've heard that the banana and malt flavors are horrible. I like the Atkins Advantage, Orgain Meal Replacements and the Myoplex Lite. I know a lot of people who really like Isopure, but to me, the whey flavor is too strong.

Oh Crap...my entire post didn't show up in my orginal post!! You don't know what the winner is!! Here it the rest.....

Atkins - excellent shake (could be higher in protein) I felt very satisfied (hunger wise) after drinkingthis shake. I had the Mocha Latte and Dark Choc. I highly recommend it.:)

But the winner is........... Carnation! I took a choc packet and put it in the blender with a 1/2 scoop of unjury powder (just a 1/2 to up the Protein. I added ice and vanilla extract (getting banana extract next time). I blended to make a delicious icy-shake that was filling! Top prize.:D

Well, there's another Protein shake thread going on in the post-op subforum, but I'd also suggest Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. For some people, flavour doesn't matter. I'm not one of those people. If it has a slight after-taste, I won't drink it for long. The shake I have now is Opt. Nutrition 100% Whey Mocha Cappucino flavour. I've been drinking it two times a day with milk and it's pretty good. It tastes like chocolate milk and I haven't detected an aftertaste. Opt. Nutrition is pretty popular on other fitness forums for their double chocolate and strawberry flavours. Anyway, maybe you'd like to try it. I've also heard good things about GNC's brand.

Premier Protein vanilla or chocolate are good premixed shakes. 11 oz 160 cals and 30 grams protein and I believe only 1 gram sugar.

I also like GNC powder.

Jay Rob Vanilla protein powder is the bomb! Mixed with skim milk and fresh raspberries...I actually look forward to it! It is 25 g of protein per scoop...110 cal...no sugar...no carbs. 34 g of protein if mixed with a cup of skim milk. It is sweetened with a hint of Stevia...but nothing over powering. It is 100% all natural whey protien. It is pricy but it's the only one I can stand to drink anymore. Funny thing is I had protien shakes every day for the last year...by choice (lol!)!
