New to the site

Where do I start? I was banded on Dec 7 2005 weighed in at 392 pre op and now in at 362 at my 1st band fill this week. I am really looking forward to the road ahead and see where it takes me.

Not feeling very much restriction. Though I understand that it could take a few fills to get it right.

I have read many stories and I must say it's great to hear of all your success!

Yeah, It took a few fills before I felt a good restriction. I'm going in next week for my 7th fill in 14 months. #6 was great for a while, but I need a little tweek in my buddy the band!!

Good luck and again Welcome!!

Hi, I am new and scheduled for lapband in March in New York. Does anyone have any information on regular vs. larger band? My doctor says it reduces reflux and is softer but I haven't seen any information on it. It is great that everyone shares and there is an honest and open forum. Thanks.
