Has anyone had any infections on any of their Incesion. I think I may have one and been calling my doctor all morning. still no return call back not sure what to do... has any one have this and what happened. I read on another forum that this girl had in infection around the port area and had to remove the lapband... Do we get our money back or some of it? I had to pay cash cause Insurance didnt cover this and if I have to remove this I would have lost and still have to pay back all the money I borrowed. I'm so worried if this happens do I get to have the lapband back with no extra cost?...OMG if I lost all this money am soo screwed... any advise would be great thanks..also the infection is the incesion next to the port so if it not there am sure it will be if this doctor never calls me back.

I think I have an infection due to the only one incesion is really red and painful and hot to the touch. Which I have read that are signs of infections. I hope its not.. Hope doctor can look at it and leet me know.. still waiting for them to call

My post op instructions said to apply an antibiotic ointment ot the incisions as needed. Are you running a fever? Be sure that your clothes, ie waist band, is not rubbing on the incision as this will only further irritate the area.
