Miscarried and No Fill

Feeling frustrated! I got banded 9/24/10, and I lost 23 lbs by 1/10. I got a fill in Jan. which took me to 5.75 cc and I could really tell the band was starting to work more for me. I fiinally felt like it was tight enough to really start dropping the weight. The following week I found out I was pregnant. I kept the fill for about 2 weeks until I was throwing up too much due to morning sickness. All of my fluid was removed. 2 weeks ago I miscarried. Now I don't have a baby on the way and my port is empty. Not only have a gained some weight since the fill was removed, I've got to start all over with fills. My doctor only fills in .25 - 1 cc increments so it will take several months to get my band back where I wanted it. My appointment for my fill is May 4. :(

So sorry to hear you miscarried. You'll get back up in fills try to be patient. I know thats easier said then done. I think it's wonderful your doctor fills slowly it prevents complications and future emergency unfills. God Bless you

My heart goes out to you. Keep strong, you'll get back to where you need to be :)
