I was barely banded today, i also have left shoulder pain, my dr. said it should go away in a day or two, im guessing its from the air they pump inside of you. I took some tums 2 of them and it has seemed to go away.

Just get up and move around, Gax-X and heating pad...and time. Usually goes away in a few days if it's gas.

.

There is no way this is still gas pain!! I went to Chicago 2 days post op and walked for two days!! The pain is getting worse not better for me. My left shoulder gets such sharp pains, if I wait too long to eat, or as soon as I drink ANY liquid!! Last night was the worst!!! I see the doc on Monday for my 1 week post op, and I know he is going to tell me it is gas pain. I have had other surgeries and am well aware of what gas pains feel like, this is not it. HELP!!
