Im really hoping to meet someone on here who is around my age (22) or was around my age when they had the surgery to be a buddy or a mentor. Im having my lapband surgery in about a month and a half. The date is not set yet still waiting for insurance to go through im a little nervous but excited! im currently 246 and 5' 5"/ 5'4" depending on the doctor lol and have a 100 pounds to lose. Hopefully we can encourage eachother that would be amazing!! cant wait to talk to anyone!

I am 24 and I just had the lap band done on March 22, 2011. I've lost 23 pounds so far after 3 weeks. At 5'7 and 283 starting I decided to get the surgery. I am now down to 260!!!!!!!
