Introducing Maureen

My nephew's wife told me about this site and it's great. I had Lap Band surgery on May 25, 2010 and so far I've lost 54 pounds. I'm feeling great except that I'm having a hard time getting to the right adjustment. I pretty much feel nauseous all morning even if I don't eat or drink. Is this normal? I had to have 2 cc removed in December because I was too full. I've had 2 fills since then and now I have to be really careful. I usually throw up in the morning. Then I eat very small amounts the rest of the day. I love the weight loss but I sure don't like struggling so hard just to stay hydrated and minimally nourished. Does anyone else feel this way? How do you ever get to the right adjustment??

I believe everyone's body reacts differently after a 'fill.' The more u lose, the looser the band will become. I'm sure your current problem will subside.

Thanks for the encouragement. I didn't realize it would get looser with weight loss. I've lost 6 lbs in 12 days since last adjustment, so I hope I'm getting close to getting more comfortable.
