Band 2/21/11

It has been one week such my actual surgery. I have had a great weight loss so far with my pre and post op diet. Today at 1 week of full liquids, I have to admit I'm a little nervous and wonder at times if I'm glad I did this. I am hoping that it's not buyer remorse and once I can start eating solids I will not have so much fear of the future. Is this normal to feel this way at this point? It feels like I'll never be able to go out to eat or enjoy food again. I know I can't keep on life I was,

I want to get ahold of my life and enjoy being physical again. It takes me 50 pounds for myself and others to really tell I've lost weight. I just need to get to this point. Thanks who ever can help!

i felt the same way and sometimes still do. I was banded on 2/16/11 and now that i feel better i am starting to wonder if ill ever be normal again. its also hard because i wont get a fill for 4 more weeks so being hungry isnt helping either. i just try to think of the big picture and remember what it is i really want to accomplish. we WILL be able to eat normal again. keyword "normal". keep your head up :)

7 days out myself

try not to get into the future in my head

still on liquids too

i just have to stay in today so i dont freak out about the future

i sure understand in the buyers remorse

i have had pain in my left ribs every since surg

dont know what is normal and what is not

just hoping pain goes away and i have done the right thing

i hear its common

good luck to us both

: )
